Pix.Studio is a photo delivery service operated by UI+AI Oy, business ID 3172353-5, Topeliuksenkatu 36 A 19, 00270 Helsinki, Finland (hereinafter "we", "us" or "Pix.Studio").

This policy covers two groups of people:

When a guest registers at a photography event, we collect:
Photos are matched to guests using their QR code and the time each photo was taken. Pix.Studio does not use facial recognition and does not process biometric data.
The photographer is the data controller for their guests' data. Pix.Studio acts as a data processor on the photographer's behalf. Guests' photos and personal data are deleted automatically when the event's retention period expires (see section 6).
We do not sell personal data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Retention applies while the photographer's plan is active. If a paid plan ends, existing events are kept for at least 30 days after it ends. After the retention period, photos and guest data are permanently deleted from our servers and storage. An event the photographer deletes is kept in a trash for 30 days, during which it can be restored, and is then permanently deleted. Photographer account data, including the sign-up information in section 3, is retained as long as the account is active.
Business transfers. If Pix.Studio or its operating company is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, personal data may be transferred to the acquiring party as part of that transaction. We will notify account holders by email or via a prominent notice in the service before any such transfer takes effect, and the acquiring party will be required to honour this privacy policy or provide at least equivalent protections.

We use optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics) only if you consent. You can accept or decline cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. The service works fully without analytics cookies.
The website and campaign you arrived from (section 3) are passed to the sign-up page in the link itself; no cookie or other browser storage is used for them.
We may update this policy. The updated date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated by email to account holders.
